ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Deadline for full paper submission : 30th September 2018

Participants interested in making an oral or poster presentation are invited to submit an abstract. All abstracts will undergo peer review by the Abstract Review Committee and may be accepted for an oral presentation or a poster presentation.

The abstract should present new scientific research, innovative and smart solutions that work in or can be adapted to air quality context, particularly those that cover these topics:

  1. Clean Energy for Better Air Quality
  2. Air Quality Management and Climate Change
  3. International Action and Cooperation on Air Pollution Management
  4. Sustainable Transport Solutions for Cities
  5. Urban Planning and City Solutions for Clean Air
  6. Air Pollution Monitoring and Process
  7. Big Data Applications and Air pollution Modelling
  8. Air Pollution Controls and Technologies
  9. Air Quality and Its Impact on Health
  10. Indoor Air Pollution
  11. Air Quality and SDG2030
  12. Education and Awareness on Air Quality

Special Issues in SCOPUS/ISI Journal will be available

All accepted abstracts submitted to the conference will be included in the BAQ 2018 souvenir program book. Prospective authors are invited to submit original and previously unpublished papers for potential publication in selected SCOPUS/ISI Journal or in SCOPUS-indexed Conference Proceedings. Submitted papers will be scientifically reviewed by a minimum of two reviewers.

Notes:

  • Only abstracts submitted via the online submission form will be sent to the Abstract Review Committee for review.
  • Abstracts submitted by fax or e-mail will not be accepted.
  • Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract.
  • The Committee will endeavor to schedule abstracts according to authors’ preferences but reserves the right to decide on the final form of presentation.
  • You will receive confirmation that your abstract has been received, indicating the abstract number which it has been allocated. Please refer to this abstract number in all correspondence regarding the abstract.
  • Please contact the Secretariat if you have not received confirmation that your abstract has been received.
  • All abstracts will be forwarded to the Committee for review. Notifications regarding status will be sent once the review process is complete.

 Extended Abstract Template:

Submit your abstracts using the Conference abstract template with a maximum of 300 words, reference with the tag to one of the twelve topics above and at least 3 keywords.

The abstract must convey the main results and conclusions of the article.

Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words. Authors are encouraged to use the attached page as a template.  Use Arial size 11 font and single line spacing. The Title is to be centered at the top of the page in Bold Arial size 12. Leave a 2.5mm (7 pt) space between the title and authors. The list of authors should be centered in Arial, size 11. The first name, middle initial and surname should be given for each author. The names of authors should be separated by a comma. A numerical superscript following each author name should be used to reference the affiliation of each author. The presenting author should be indicated with an asterisk (*). Affiliations should be in Arial size 9 font and include postal address and email address of each author. The abstract should follow in Arial size 11.
